The beauty of life
How to make my flowers
last longer
Natural flowers and plants have a limited lifespan, from blooming to decay, each stage showcasing its unique beauty. However, there are ways to extend their visible life. Here are some tips:
Fresh Cut Flowers
-
Once you receive the bouquet, the flowers can last for approximately 3-7 days. To ensure their longevity, avoid exposing them to direct sunlight and maintain good ventilation. During summer, it is advisable to store them in an air-conditioned room. In general, flowers thrive better in cooler environments when stored.

-
To ensure the longevity of your flowers, it is best to remove the wrapping paper and transparent water bag promptly. Place them in a clean vase or long glass without suffocating them with layers of packaging paper.

-
Typically, filling the vase with water up to one-third of its height is enough

-
To maintain clean water and prevent bacterial growth, change the water every two days. Additionally, it is important to clean the flower stems as they are susceptible to rotting which can cause the flowers to wither.

-
To prolong the viewing period of flowers, use clean scissors to cut the stem at a slant of 1-2 cm when changing the water. This creates a fresh cut for better water absorption.

-
Removing the leaves from the stem of a plant placed in water can help to maintain clean water quality.
-
In summer or warm environments, use the provided flower food by following the packaging instructions. It helps balance water pH, improves absorption, and prevents bacteria.

-
If some flowers wilt within 2–3 days, promptly remove the withered petals and leaves to keep the rest fresh longer.

-
Don’t discard the whole bouquet if a few flowers fade. Cut the binding, remove the wilted ones, and place the healthy flowers in a vase to extend their life.

-
Keep flowers away from fruit, as fruit releases ethylene, which speeds up aging.

Some Flowers Need Special Care
-
Hydrangeas: Their petals absorb water, so it's important to change the water frequently and mist them regularly to prevent wilting due to moisture loss.
